Yes, my second ever Insektors fanart, next to: [link]
I was feeling very sick yesterday, so I decided to do something I rarely do, and attempted to "vege out" in front of the TV. Sadly, there was a very very bad surfie drama called "Blue Water High" on, which had such bad acting it made me gag. So I hunted furiously for something else to watch, and eventually laid eyes on my beloved tape of Insektors episodes, and therefore watched an episode or two. Oh, I forgot how much I insanely love that series.

All you need to know about Insektors: We have two races/clans/colonies of anthromorphic Insects, the Yuks (or Kruds, if you follow the British series) and the Joyces (or Verigreens, if you follow the British series). The Yuks hate colour, the Joyces love it. The Joyces can fly, the Yuks can't. Therefore, the Yuks hate the Joyces. Therefore, there is fighting and bickering and general nastiness. Throughout this children's series we get to experience stuff like war, love, compassion, apathy, depression, missing parents and, well, the end of the world (almost). And they're all insects, uh-huh-yup. "A Bug's Life", "Antz", "The Ant Bully"... Insektors PWNs you a million times over.

AAAAAANYWAY, this here is Lord/Chief Engineer Teknocratus (AKA "Synapse" in the British series), my OTHER favourite character from the series. I've been meaning to draw him for ages, but I just kept on forgetting. He's a Yuk (assumedly a weevil. Wikipedia says it, so it must be so!), although he's extremely colourful for one: He's freakin' blue and gold (With a penchant for leopard skin print)! His main job is to make weapons of MASS DESTRUCTION AND HURTING for the Yuk army, as well as making other practical inventions (usually for burning things. The Yuks like being HOT). He also acts as an advisor to Lord Krabo (the Yuk's Prime Minister) from time to time. He doesn't really express any extreme hatred towards the Joyces, he's just... neutral. He doesn't seem to care for much at all. He and the Joyce's Leader, the Great Pyro (Godfrey in the British version, I believe?), share a fair amount of respect for eachother, both being scientists of sorts.
Personality-wise, he's pretty boring. XD He's quite deadpan, very curious (in a scientific LET'S DISSECT STUFF kinda way), and often talks in scientific jargon. He's also... kinda bitchy. Underhandedly so, in the way that you'd only realise half an hour later that he was actually bagging you out, but bitchy nonetheless. You've got to be if you hang around with Lord Krabo!
I could probably write convincing fanfiction with him, actually, because my fanfiction style of late is incredibly boring and long-winded and philosophical. >_> (My goodness, that's what *I'm* like, actually. *Headdesk*)
Aditionally, he's the reason I really like N-Gin from Crash Bandicoot. They're not carbon copies, but they're sort of similar.

I love the way those beautiful spiralling thorn tendrils turned out. They look so deliciously sharp and dangerous.
