A Bird may love a Fish

This is a promo image for my first ever stop-motion animation. One of the final projects for my first semester doing my Diploma of Digital Media was to develop a stop-motion animation that was at least thirty seconds long. I made a short film entitled "The Bird and the Fish". It is heavily inspired by both Jojo in the Stars (Studio Aka) and The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello (Anthony Lucas), but is actually the most heavily sourced from the piece of music playing throughout most of the animation. The two musical pieces you hear in this film are composed by Kevin McLeod of Incompetech Royalty-Free music. As you will hear when you click the below link, that music is fantastic.

The video basically features split-pin-jointed paper figures with a keyed-out background against computer-generated images. Some features are also generated in Flash (such as the opening sequence), and all illustrations are drawn by me. In short, apart from the royalty-free resources used, it all belongs to me.
